Again

I neglect this baby so much it should be a crime. To be honest I've been doing fairly well in life so I haven't had much to blog about. I wrote some crap in facebook that brought in mad comments and I'm wondering why this blog never pulls any. It's ok, I still love you guys. I'm gonna start posting artwork here and if any of you guys out there who actually do read this blog like it, don't hesitate to comment.

Been a while...

I knoooow guys, I'm sorry. I've been meaning to update but I always forget.

Firstly, big ups to my main man B-rock Obamaz for clinching the presidency. I'm proud that he ran such a good campaign and ultimately came out on top very handily.

Secondly, what does the church of scientology think they're doing advertising on my page. You may have taken Will Smith but you'll never have me.

Third, stupid ass yahoo suspended my account and now I need to call them to get my site back up and running. In other words, if you're thinking of using yahoo, don't. Switch to godaddy and save yourself time and money. You can even ogle Danica Patrick and Candice Mitchell while you make your domain purchase.

Zune sucks. Ipod sucks as well but at least you can replace the firmware with something better. The touch however, is more than a worth investment in you can get by on like 8 gigs.

That's all for now.

Er....

Ok, I have no earthly idea why church advertisements keep showing up in my adsense. Actually I know why the do and the more times I say church, the more times church advertisements will appear. So effectively I've just made church advertisements 3// no four times more likely to pop up. However, thats not what I'm here to talk to you about today, today I'm here to talk to you about a wonder new website I discovered called oosah. Now, go get yourself 1 terrabit,or one terrorbit (whichever u prefer) of storage for all your porn smuggling needs... and I know you have many.

Two Phenominal Artists

As always I have angry words for certain individuals. However, I found two musicians whose music is ten times more awesome than my pathetic ramblings.... and we know my pathetic ramblings are pretty damn awesome. Anyways, Kasper is a young rapper from Massachusetts. The second artist goes by the name Ronald Jenkees from Kentucky, home of the fried chicken. Ronald is more of a producer than rapper but thats only of minor importance. What impressed me the most about these two individuals is that they are incredibly down to earth. I have respect for anyone who can carry on a conversation with their fans and shows such good composure with customers. So, I'll be putting on for both of these guys in the hopes they blow the hell up and the whole world jumps on the Esko bandwagon.

You can find Kasper at this place here.

Ronald Jenkees chills at this spot right here you.

Check it out and lemme know what you think.

YEEEEEEEAH BOI!

So far this has been an eventful week. I got in one of those weird conversations with one of those Christian reformer guys at the free speech campus zones. Needless to say, it was eh, moderatly pointless.

On to bigger and better things.

LUPE THE FIASCO. What can I say about the man? He knows how to put on a damn good concert. Openers, they were whatever. Rouse was great considering they were just an opener. However, Motion City soundtrack, yall should take some notes. Lupe come out hard and he came out SWANGIN. Track after track after track the man kept the crowd energized. The only part of the crowd energized for motion city were a buncha ugly goth chicks who had no business jumping... and crowdsurfers... thats all I have to say about that. But nothing, and I mean nothing, could rain on my Lupe parade. So my song of the week, is fighters.

gotta love that Matthew Santos feature.

No Names

Two fold update
A: Four reasons I give people money instead of presents.
1.Heartfelt gifts from the Esko are disingenuous
2.Other people like to buy duplicate gifts
3.Money is always useful everywhere
4.You should be happy I got you anything. (I stress this one)

B: Ladies I love you and all and I'd love to leave it at that, but ugh, if I did i'd be lying to myself and everyone reading this. It's a story for another day though.

Goodnight yall

Audacity

I'm angry. No need to hide this one. I like to think the people I know and associate with are pretty intelligent. I also like to think of them as fairly tolerant. So, when I log onto facebook and see a status like "it is impossible for someone to support Barack Obama and still be a Catholic who is in good standing with the Church. It's just impossible." My anger level rises greatly. This is not just because you're injecting religion where religion doesn't belong, although that's a good part of it. You may or may not know the individual that posted that. If you do I really don't give a damn because as far as i'm concerned if you post somthing up if fair game for anyone anywhere to comment on. So, how's the title figure into this post?

That is the boldest most audacious statement I've every heard anyone make... at least through facebook and barring all pastors. How dare you attempt to oppose your view of "proper" catholicism into another based on their political prefernce. How dare you assume the lifestyle of a person bade upon who they've chosed to vote for. That is one of the lowest, most basic forms of fearmongering retardation I've ever encountered.

I'm going to cut myself off here before I write a whole

Days

I have a funny idea of what a day is. When I say Zune review tomorrow, I actually mean eventually.

Shout outs to Matt and Kayla. They are the awesomacious newlywedz whose children I will train black martial arts and possible voodoo craft witchery of some sort.

Alrighty, Zune stuff.

The coolest thing about the Zune would have to be its touchpad. You can slide your finger along that little thing in the center to get just about anywhere in little or no time at all.

The interface compliments this, however, it's more or less the same as an ipod.

The screen is nice and the resolution is great, unfortunatly it only supports jpeg images. To further annoy me it doesn't support divx or avi, my favorite formats. Nevertheless that's to be expected.

Bottom line:
If space is not an issue you should go out and buy a touch. The wifi is great and it's more fun to use. If you're like me and need a huge hd, get a zune.
p.s. if you get a zune, this is a must visit site.

Late

Yes I know It's been a while since I've gotten one of these posts in. A lot has happened in the last week or so. Anyways, on to what happening with me not.

I've got my fingers crossed hoping that this bail out is not a phail out.

Speaking of phail outs, to say I'm irreconcilably angry with Johnny for picking Palin would be an understatement. She was great publicity but horrible for everything else. Meaning, she's horrible at all the thigns that really count.

To throw oil on the fire, what was up with the whole campaign suspension/I don't want to debate thing he had going on? I don't know what that was all about, but it was annoying for a number of reasons. I really don't know where to begin on it, but hell if u have questions feel free to ask.

Today I begin working out again, wish me luck.
Zune review and web update tomorrow.

Next JAM

Dennis Edwards is a rather incredible artist. I know you've heard this melody before. Tupac, Skeelo, M People, and verious others have sampled it. So now present to you, Don't Look Any Further.

Potpourri

Life would be much easier if stores would stop crappin around and factor in tax to the price of their merchandise. I wouldn't have to count change or worry about the extra. It would just be there and I could have a better idea of what I'd like to buy.

Every price should end in 0 or 5. Pennies are pretty damn useless. In fact it costs more to produce them than they are individually worth. Why oh why do we still have them?

People spend more time hating on "rival" products than enjoying what they have. While I'm technically guilty of this, my "hating" comes more from the fact that I'm fairly tech savvy and I enjoy giving advice to people who may not know there are alternatives in brands other than their own. However, when it comes to "XBOX 360 IS THE BEST CONSOLE UR WII SUCKS IT BIGTIME AND UR PS3 IS LAME" I just yawn. Buy your console, play your console. If you don't know why you're buying what you're buying you simply should not be buying anything.

Movies, they all kinda suck right now, but thats nothing new.

That's all folks. Zune review forthcoming.

You knew it was coming...

I knew it was coming. I usually prefer to pass on religion and politics as a conversational topic. Well, no, that's certainly a lie. Those are things I don't usually shy away from. Anyways, I'll get on with the subject. First, Politics.

  • This election is no different than any other in terms of slander.
  • Any way you slice it Palin was a great choice for a boost but a horrible choice for a very possible president.
  • This is not the election for you to single issue vote on.
  • You should never single issue vote

Religion

  • I consider myself as barely Christian
  • I understand the necessity for morality within the Christian church yadda yadda.
  • I don't understand the attempt to enforce or impose your religion on others through legislation.
  • Creationism is nonsense.

That's just how I feel.

On another note, I ordered the zune and I feel great. Smallville was a let down and Supernatural was superb. Glad they brought it back for another season although this one could get ooooh so weird.

Cya next time.

Esko's throwback JAM of the week

Today's Observation

The sun is still shinning. No dimensional rifts are tearing te skies asunder. Bring on the Higgs Boson!

On another much sadder note, after numerous dropping and various mishandlings over 3 years, my archos is on the verge of death. I'll have to take up the godawful task of selecting its replacement. The only worthy contendors I've seen lately are zune and ipod players. I have disdain for both consdidering the thing I loved so much about the Archos was its drag and drop feature. All I had to to to get tracks or files on it was copy and paste. From what I know, if you can't get the file into the zune marketplace or itunes that file is not going on your player. That means none of that external hd action for you. Anyways, if anyone out there owns either or and wants to tell me why their player is so wonderful, please do. I need help making a final decision on it.

Hola

I'm Esko. I notice things. Then I write about them. Can you dig it?
